31 Days of Lessons Learned: Day Ten
What Goes Around Comes Around
Hey folks! Quick blog today because I’m preoccupied with watching my Tigers try to close out the A’s, so I just wanted to remind you of a lessons I’ve learned time and time again in my life.
That lesson is – what goes around comes around. I’ve found it to be the case in small ways and big ways. What made me think of it tonight was an experience I had a dinner. We went out to a family dinner at Mongolian BBQ this evening and while waiting in line to get my food cooked, three people cut in front of me. I guess they didn’t see I was at the head of the line…or they were just super hungry. Who knows. All I know is that even though I lost my place in line three times over, my food was done before their food.
It’s the little things…
Earl Hickey was right – karma will come back to get you, so do your best to make the best decision in everything in life.
I also wanted to take the time to give everyone who donated to the CLF fundraiser charity for me. I reached my goal this evening and I was able to raise $515 for children’s leukemia. I’m still collecting donations for one more day. If you’re interested, click on the picture of the popcorn and pop on the right-hand side of my blog.
