31 Days of Lessons Learned: Day Twenty One
Sometimes You Pay For it on Monday
Before I get started, I wanted to send a big thank you to everyone who stopped by the blog yesterday. It was my highest traffic day since I started the blog and it feels good to see so many folks stopping by. Most of the visits lately have been for the free pumpkin stencils I’ve offered up this year and last year. It makes perfect sense because of the season, I just hope all these new visitors stop by more often when it’s not the Halloween season. More on that in a later blog…
OK, now that I’ve said thank you, here’s yesterday’s lesson learned. Wait, did I just say yesterday? Yup. I’m a day late. Sorry about that! I had such a jam-packed, fun-filled weekend that things just got away from me. By the time I had a moment to come up for air, it was time to go to bed and get ready for the week.
My alarm goes off at 6:40 every weekday morning to start off our daily morning routine. This morning, we all slept through the alarm and my wife noticed at 7:50 that we were a bit late! It’s amazing how two adults and a toddler can get ready for work and school in about 35 minutes if really pushed. It was a bit stressful, but we made it work…and Lily got to watch a couple minutes of Pound Puppies while she ate her Blueberry Bagel. It’s a good thing I finally listened to my wife and agreed to pack lunches the night before. It’s almost as if the cosmos knew we were going to pay for it this morning.
Go Team Jackson!
In the spirit of paying for our busy weekend of fun on Monday, you can all expect another post from me tonight so I can catch up. Until tonight, have a great day!
