31 Days of Digital Mixtapes, Day Five:
Dead Poet’s Society
While the premise behind this mix seems a little morbid, rest assured, it’s more of a mix of remembrance and a cautionary tale of sorts. Everyone on this mix died in their prime. I don’t want them to be forgotten, so in a sense, this mix is also a tribute of sorts. There’s really not much else to say. Their untimely deaths will always make me wonder what could’ve been if they were still alive and making music. We’ll never know. I just hope that they were able to find peace.

Great idea for a list! I didn’t even know Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon died, actually. Surprised more classic rock wasn’t listed like Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin or Jimi Hendrix. I feel like they could be considered “founding members” of The 27 Club. But, really, a great list!
